Poland’s Finance Minister Andrzej Domanski said on Monday that he expects the country’s inflation rate to ease to around 3% in July, signaling a potential slowdown in price growth.
The projection follows a 4.1% annual inflation rate in June, based on a flash estimate released by the national statistics office. That figure slightly exceeded economists’ expectations of 4.0% and marked a rise from the revised 4.0% recorded in May.
If Domanski’s forecast holds true, July would represent a notable drop in inflation, offering a positive signal for policymakers and consumers alike amid ongoing efforts to bring price pressures under control.
