Today, Thursday, news reports said, quoting an official announcement of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, that the digital platform suffered some problems after maintaining the wallet for (BNB Smart Chain BEP20).
The statement indicated that the Binance platform temporarily stopped deposits and withdrawals on BNB Smart Chain, as the team is working to solve the problem, and BSC deposits and withdrawals were temporarily suspended due to a node problem after upgrading the (Binance Smart Chain BEP20) network.
And the reports continued that it is expected that the maintenance of the wallet for (BNB Smart Chain BEP20) will be completed by 11:00 UTC on March 30, as the Binance team is working to complete the maintenance as soon as possible.
Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, halted spot trading at the end of last week due to what its CEO Changpeng Zhao described as a “minor glitch,” noting that the matching engine encountered an error with the trailing stop order, and that he expected the issue to be resolved within two hours. Pending a more accurate time, deposits and withdrawals will be paused as standard operating procedure (SOP), and the platform reassures customers that their deposits are safe.
